Baby fort

Trey enjoys a little down time in a fort made with chairs, laundry baskets, whatever.

And he can usually sucker someone to get in with him. Ridiculous. (He tried to get Rinkle to come in, too.)

Watch out ladies, here he comes

(And yes, he really went jogging like this.)

Summertime Fun

Yes, Jay is growing corn in his garden.

Gnawing on some TART rhubarb from Jay's garden... and he gnawed through the whole thing. You'd think I don't feed the kid.

More good times in Rockford

Em & Luke stopped in town on their way to Galena, so we got to see them for the second time in a few weeks!

Dinner with Grandma Jan & Grandpa Dan

I was excited to see two of my best girlfriends from high school... Breah and I planned to get together knowing that we were going to be in town at the same time, but didn't know Mel was even in the country.  I was chatting with some friends on the Tuck's front lawn, and Mel and her mom drove by and saw us... a random coincidence. What a great surprise! So all three of us got together for coffee on Tuesday. We had a great time catching up, and Trey and sweet little Jairus got to play together!

4th of July

Trey and I went to Rockford to see the family for the 4th of July, and Jay surprised us by showing up at the last minute! We had a great time.

What's the 4th of July without a snowcone?

The much-anticipated golf cart ride
